The government’s Affordable Housing Programme (AHP), a flagship pillar under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), continues to gain momentum across the country, delivering tangible benefits to thousands of Kenyans. Designed to address the housing deficit while creating jobs and stimulating economic growth, the programme is steadily transforming urban and peri-urban landscapes. In Nakuru, the programme has made remarkable strides, positioning the county as a key beneficiary of the national housing agenda. The completion of the Elburgon Affordable Housing Project in Molo Constituency stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities. The Elburgon development comprises 220 modern residential units spread across nine G+4 blocks, designed to accommodate approximately 1,500 residents.
